I had the (3mm correx) wing lying around from an abandoned project and added a home-made fuselage ... it came out a bit heavy - I might try and build it a bit lighter, later The name FROM came from the second hand correx sales board I used for the fuselage - it said FROM 50p or so.
I have currently converted to Depron as my main building material. The 'FROM' design was supposed to lead to a possible camera / FPV ship with stable and slow flying characteristics. Incidentally, I found out that the crash was entirely due to my stupidity: the wing-servos were reversed - doh.
I too started with depron material. Depron are light but can't take punishment unlike the corroplast.
I use the a 2mm thick corroplast, they are light and reasonably lightweight. The smallest corroplast model I made is a 24 inch wingspan. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Sorry for your lost. If you are interested in a pusher coroplast plane you can subscribe to my video.
I have design the SPAD with a few consideration:-
1)prevention of propeller strike on hand or during landing. My design comes with a propeller guard.
2) Low drag, capable of very high speed.
Cheers and all the best

Hi!

Best wishes.
