@GLOCKCOPG23 Great way to bump a 6 month old post. I disagree with what I said now. If you are hunting, sure go ahead and use a compound its more human for the animal if you get a kill shot then hit it in the thigh or something. But what pisses me off is when people bring fully decked out compounds to archery compotitions. A compotition is to see who is the best and most trained, not who has the most money and can pay thousands of dollars on lazer range finders and balistic sights.

@iscay666 I certainly do call that hunting. It's alot harder than you minimize it to be. Of course a stick and string bow is harder to use but don't discredit a compound by implying that it is easy. I can get to town with a horse and buggy but isn't it nicer to get there in your truck. It's called technological progress. If Neanderthal had compound bows they would still be around today instead of being evidence of outdated technology.

You can also die hanging in a full body harness like this. Remember to always carry a suspension relief strap with you so you can help prevent suspension trauma which will result in death just as much as a fall will.

It's probably more difficult from a stand, though I agree that using sights on a bow is silly.

wow sit in a tree all day and shoot the with a compound with sights you people call that hunting?.... proper hunting is getting a stave longbow sneaking up on your target and shooting it. not fucken waiting around all day just to use a sight couse you can't aim for shit.
