These are the crib bumpers I made for my second daughter Rylie. I got the idea for them from a product called Wonder Bumpers. This is a less expensive, no sew option which allows you more creativity. This was very much a trial and error project for me. But, if you have any questions at all, please leave them as a comment below and I'd be happy to answer :)

  • I've tried everywhere and can't find it. Not sure how much you paid for your foam insulation but the stores don't sell the 2". Do you have any suggestions for 2" foam.

  • @jselfallen We got ours at Home Depot, but I'm not sure if they have 2". Have you tried looking online? Or asking Home Depot if they can order it?

  • real cute like the idea how about instead of glue I would use velcro?

  • @naccosme Ya that could work. Would be a lot of velcro though!

  • I was wondering where you ordered your pipe insulation from and how much did a box cost? Great tutorial!!!!

  • @NaturallyYoshiboo The whole box cost 68, but we only used half.

  • I was just wondering instead of using pipe covers could you use pool noodles? They are the long foam that float in the water.

  • How much fabric did it take you to cover all the slats? Please reply!! :)

  • i like this idea but how much did u spend on the foamy thing and i was thinking u can also make it for the top part as well so they dont try to chew of the crib my son did that to his crib but now i got an inea thanks !

  • They are really cute. Im not crazy about the idea of using polyethylene in a place where I'd be having my baby sleep though. I would switch that out for a padded cotton padding. Other than that, good job!

  • Can some pretty please give me an idea of how much fabric I would need on a typical crib....I can order my fabric by the yard however the fabric I want is $38/yard!! I read somewhere that it would take about 12 yards to cover 40 slats which will put me close to $500... :( Any insights??

  • omg i love this!!!!!! thank you soooooo much for this video.

  • Gorgeous. The only thing I would change is put white ribbon on purple bumper, and vice versa.

  • Thanks so much for posting this video!! I plan on doing our babies nursery myself (if its a girl, DH fell in love with a pirate set for a boy lol) and this video is amazing!! I can't wait to start on the set I am going to make :)

  • how much fabric did you use and how much was that? what was the total cost for the whole project? i have a 2 month old and we just got his crib today... i want to make these bumpers but im strapped for cash most of the time. how affordable is this project?
