no dodges, no blocks, no good rolls, no counter attacks. just baddies in general.

You do realize that this combo video was uploaded 2 months after Brawl's release, right? People really didn't play the game hardcore defensive as they do now. I was also reading people well anyways. When you read people it makes it seem like their decision was bad, and that's not always the case.

First things first people....combo videos are meant to make one player look good and all the other players look horrible. 2ndly...most of this was pure mindgames.
