@corkedmachinima Thank you so much for your comment, Sadly I no longer have this game but the counter to this strategy is simple, move your carriers to the south of the American Island in shallow water (so subs can't sneak up on you) and do the same thing as you would for the Japs. 2 fighters 4 bombers and bomb the battleship yard.
Americans also have tougher battleships, but Japs have 5 large guns where the Americans only have 4. I hope that helps!
