This was an unexpected sight while looking for petrified wood. The solid white orangish colored horse was gigantic, the largest horse I have ever seen in my life. This was a out in the mountainess high desert over 5,000' above sea level far away from civilization. They are assumed to be wild and the markings where spots where fur had been rubbed off perhaps on a boulder or something.

  • You sound like Napolean Dynamite!

  • i found sprit

  • just because horses r roaming free does not make them wild...here in south dakota on the rez where i live horses get out all the time, they r roaming thru town all the time...people getting killed all the time from hitting them or cows on the road at night...but they belong to someone. kids here all the time walking with bridles to catch their horse to go riding.

  • Those horses are from the Spurlock Ranch, south of I-40.

  • @kompuiheartsu No biggie..lol

  • @azrepodude68 Oh okay. Wow I'm very sorry. Didn't realize all that!! So sorry!

  • @kompuiheartsu Well #1 The tan horse has a BRAND! #2 they have SHOES ON! #3 Wild horses would not even get REMOTELY THAT CLOSE TO PEOPLE..! #4 They are way to healthy for wild horses! #5 I know what ranch owns them I used to live there!!!!

  • @azrepodude68 And how do you know?? Are you stupid or something?

  • @animelover462 You cannot tell by looking whether a horse is wild or not- unless they've been groomed or something. People think that all wild horses look rough and thin and ugly. There are some absolutely incredibly beautiful wild horses that would compare in confirmation to a show horse. It's too bad that people have such misconceptions about wild horses. They can be big and fat and healthy and gorgeous. (I'm a certified equine appraiser. I know a bit about this.)

  • Those arent wild...Are you stupid?
