I have just added this video to a playlist I have called "Others Performing Neil Diamond Song". However, every time I hear Neil himself do this song (and he has recorded it and usually does it in concert), it comes across to me like someone else performing a Micky Dolenz song. Micky owns this song!

I always thought Mickey had such a sweet awesome voice. He sounds as good here as when I first heard him in 1966.

I have been a fan of Mickey's since I was a kid. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few years ago and he was one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. Mickey is not only an amazing performer but also a true gentlmen.

I love Micky too.. I met him in 2001 along with Peter.. He is also awesome... I was crying like an ass but Micky said "Thanks for coming hon.." He touched my hair and looked into my eyes.. Metting Peter was just as cool as he comforted me as someone took our pictures... I got one of Mick too before I left that night.. A moment I will NEVER forget....
