Caterham 7 Roadsport Race Car - Exhaust Sound

2006 Caterham 7 Roadsport ex. Race Car exhaust sound. Engine is a 1.6 Rover K-Series with 120bhp. Car only weighs just over 500kg so it is relatively fast.

This is a video of me revving it showing the natural exhaust sound of the Caterham. The car was an ex. race car in 2006-7 then has been used for track days and road use ever since.

@FutureMarine246 The popping sound is great. Why would you want to eliminate it?

@FutureMarine246 I'm not sure. Could be unburnt fuel igniting, or maybe the ignition timing? Also my exhaust has a cat so that may reduce the popping. It does sometimes pop when the car is warm.

@hbwold I hear some cars, when they rev up they have that popping raspy sound like waaaaaaaaa pop pop pop.

how come this car doesnt have that popping sound? im modifying my exhaust and im trying to figure out how to reduce that popping noise
