@DocSkribblez he's humbled due to the Strife of drinking the liquid lie and capitalizing on it. Diabetes is real when you degrade your soul.
-
@Buhho1 so, Sprite is hip hop too? because that's what he was selling man.

@worksofdelprado Nice one mate! Thanks for the track name, it's Check the rhyme I'm after.. on Spotify Phife and the boys apparently won't allow for Spotifiers to listen to it; looks like I'll be ending Low End Theory to my CD collection finally! Thanks again chappy.

Man! I used to be such an ignorant lad, before I listened to Tribe I thought all hip-hop was shite. I owe them a great debt! Whats the name of the first track sampled in the interview, sounds quality and I don't recognise it?

I owe them a debt as well. The first track in the opening montage of Tribe tunes is "Check The Rhyme". The actual first track in the interview is "Oh My God".

@worksofdelprado you OWE them?? WTF?
I bought their early singleson wax, that's enough cheddar for them dude.
What are they doing for your life son? NOTHING Did you never listen to music before hip hop, like you know, the REAL bands they 'stole' from like Sly and the Family stone, who had a true message? Even Roy Ayers has more integrity in his pinky finger than most of the Native Tounges in restrospect. The truth may hurt the fine line of coke you laid out to blow later..blow it.

@freqazoidiak Figure of speech son. At the time of their initial release, they were different than what was "new". Yes, ATCQ opened my mind to another aspect of Hip Hop. I began digging and started searching for Jazz / rare soul records. Sure they stole stuff... "sampling". Isn't that the original formula to beats? Are you knocking Hip Hop artistis/producers for sampling? There is an art there. Just like Stetsasonic said, "people would've forgot" if this era had not happened. And trees not coke.
