You are right. The fact that angels helped Jesus didn't make him any less greater or any less powerful. Remember that Jesus asked the woman at the well to give Him water. Jesus asked the disciples to provide the fish and the bread which he supernaturally multiplied to feed thousands. Jesus asked his disciples to pray with Him in Gethsemane. Jesus had the power to do all the things he could have wanted but He lowered himself and included humans and angels in the works that he did.

Jesus humbled himself so low that he depended completely on the Father's power and provision (which at times came through angels)
