Another reminder of how cruel Jonathan Ross is and why he shouldn't be on our TV screens.

Here, in 1996, he humiliates Rod Hull who, by this time, was down on his luck. He had been declared bankrupt and his wife had left him. But sleazy Ross seizes the opportunity for a cheap joke.

It takes a certain sort of egotistical, conceited and downright nasty person to do this. But Mr Ross has much past history of unpleasantness, past subjects for jokes have included stroke victims and Romanian orphans.

Many of us are eagerly looking forward to seeing Jonathan Ross swept off our screens permanently. It's something that can't come soon enough.

  • jonathan ross your just a prat and your not even funny , hope emu pisses all over your head. your over payed and over raited and you hair looks like a toupee.

  • You know it's amazing what humour can do. It's swift, incisive and brutal and has the power to inflict serious wounds. At the same time it's possible to laugh it off and trivialise it as 'just being a joke'. It's true that cruelty is much more acceptable to most people when it's funny. Try to challenge it and you wind up being labelled as miserable or prudish with no sense of humour. After all, it's just a joke!

  • Jonathan Ross, what a cunt.

  • @keithmoon1947 LOL!!! Clearly, you've banned all humour in your life....

  • I like a good laugh and joke as much as the next man or woman. But I think his comment about Rod Hull was in very bad taste and there was nothing remotely funny about it. Rod brought joy to millions of people, adults and kids alike. From what I remember of this awards show, jonathan was making rude remarks all evening. God bless, Rod.

  • @doubledeckers terminal illness i thought he was commenting on how hed been out of work for a while seriously get a life

  • @keithmoon1947 it's actually called a SENSE of humour. Seriously, see how you feel when one of your relatives has a terminal illness and Russell Brand, Frankie Boyle or Wossy pop round for a laugh.

  • @doubledeckers well u see my relatives have what is called a sence of humour obviously u dont

  • @keithmoon1947 - until it happens to your relative of course ;)

  • @leirgauk yeah lets ban all humour and all be miserable bastards, get a life
