The kit was put out on the stage 60 seconds before he played by non-drummers. He had to work with what he had.

I have to agree with irondaddy just a bit, teach good technique, posture, etc... now, so they grow into that at a later date! Speed, fills, all the fancy stuff is for not without having the basics down! Still, really good playing for his age!

Thanks...You're right. He now has a great teacher and attended Sonny Emory's drum camp. He is down to the basics...Using "Stick Control" rudiment book.
