@DomWrath I think it has to do with Mary Magdalene. It's kind of a metaphor, like in A Perfect Circle's Magdalena. Whether Mary or Maria is James' Magdalene, I am unsure.

Iunno about anybody else, but I can't play Silent Hill 2 without thinking of the deeper backstory, all the psychological torture on James' part, and everything... Everything in that game has a meaning, a tie to James.

I don't think there even CAN be a best silent hill song. All of these songs are masterpieces, simply perfect.
