  • I would watch that shit like a hawk if I was the plaintiff. He was just irresponsible.

  • That's so arrogant to think you can leave stuff behind for storage even though the house is no longer yours. I believe they threw out the stuff, they probably just dumped the boxes. He's an idiot.

  • People who leave stuff behind have no consideration for those who have to deal with it.

Stuff in an attic or spare room is a haven for mice, insects. mold, and other nuisances that will spread into the rest of the property unless someone goes in and cleans it regularly. Get it in writing and pay in advance for the storage and care!

  • @Pat2296

    lol, true say

  • Finally, an interesting case. I get so sick of scratched cars and g.f.s suing their b.f.s for 'loans' and landlords withholding deposits, etc..

  • theres no such thing as 1000%

  • @sestren2503 Maybe that is why it annoys me so much. Thank you,.. I will keep that in mind!

  • @cjbartnik Yeah normally when I see someone say anything over 100% they're lying.

  • I have no sympathy. I rented a place, and the previous tenant kept saying "I'll pick my stuff up. Just a few weeks/days more". After six months I gave it to charity.

  • I agree with the verdict, but I bet if he did leave that stuff there the defendants sold it I would

  • I so HATE when someone says 1000% or even 110%...Such a STUPID thing to say, glad he lost,.

  • Why would he "trust these people 1000%?" When they were his tenants he 'may' have had justification to leave stuff upstairs, but once he sold the house he didn't own the upstairs AT ALL. If I were the Def. living there, the second the new owner told me to junk the stuff, I'd be digging through it. Maybe that makes me cheap or nosey, but as soon as I know he's left it w/ no intent to get it back, I'd see how much I could get for it. I'd loved to hear the Def. say she sold the stuff for $1,000's!!
