  • Thanks for your comments. You are quite right about how the articles a/an can be used to talk about general things.  You may want to watch my video about exceptions to uncountable nouns. Your triangle example is a reduced defining clause which I have covered the abovementioned video. Thanks again.

  • I like your creative approach in your lessons, but what about this?

    "A triangle has three sides."

    I have used the article "a" for a very general statement. Therefore, I think, for completeness and accuracy, this lesson can be improved. Perhaps this lesson is continued in another part. In any event, I hope you are aware of this. Thanks for your attention.
