After 18 seasons of professional hockey Greg Pankewicz hung up his skates and stepped behind the bench to become the Colorado Eagles Assistant Coach. In his first game as Assistant Coach the Colorado Eagles retired his number 89 jersey, the first Eagles jersey number to be retired.
