Mac OS X 10.4.9 "Tiger" on Windows Vista

VIEW MY VIDEO RESPONSE TO SEE HOW TO SET UP INTERNET ON PEARPC.

This is how fast Mac OS X boots on Vista without video capture software (like Cam Studio, the program I used before) to give you an idea of what it runs like normally.

PM me or comment if you'd like to know how to do this too, or if you have any other questions.

On a side note, don't get me wrong, I love Vista (it runs great, even Ultimate + Aero with 512MB RAM), it's just not the greatest for emulating Mac OS. =P

My computer's specs:
Athlon 64 3000+ (2.0GHz), 1GB RAM (DDR SDRAM), geforce 5700LE (the AGP one, 128MB VRAM) and 90 gigs hard drive space 7200 RPM, running Windows Vista.

Why dont you boot your PC into mac os, rather than emulating it? PM TO FIND OUT HOW It's a whole ton faster.

cause that's a modified version of OS X, emulated is not, and yes i know about the vanilla kernel for a retail OS X boot but i use AMD so i'm excluded from that, i need a modified kernel for it to work. =/

No, it isn't Fake. Its real. I have it in my Computer too with Mac OS X 10.1, 10.2 ans 10.3 ans it Works. It emulates a PowerPC G3 or G4.

So shut up and don't say it's Fake. Try it first :)

PearPC emulates a PowerPC architecture so that's why it would be slow. VMware should be faster because it should be able to use your Athlon 64 directly.
