Those who have read Kosta's book The Magus of Java know that at some point John Chang picked up a chopstick, transferred his qi into it and pushed it with but little effort through thick wood. In this video he performs this demo. Credit goes to serialjunkie for this video.

  • this stuff isnt a trick, nor is there a trick to it, this takes years upon years of meditation and chigung, noigung etc, the truth to the matter is nearly nobody has the patience to stay with it, and the bigger truth is that when you're mature enough to have this kind of power, youre not going to be going to be showing it off, thats why there is so few of these videos.

  • @andibadguy you've got to be kidding, right? anyone who can watch these two vids and think this guy is legit needs a primer in critical thinking

"no one can believe this kind of thing before see it with his own eyes"

why!????? magicians fool people ALL THE TIME! Why not frauds too? believe nothing what you hear and only half of what you see. you'll go farther in life

  • @monkgot45 please produce this study. where was it published? was it in a credible scientific journal?

    anecdotes NEVER equals evidence!

  • @stampedeokoalas yet, every single time when these people are PROPERLY tested, they fail MISERABLY! why do you suppose that is? why is it that these people never do anything but simple and well known carny tricks? even the shaolin admit to them being tricks in their grandmasters text.

  • @lennyhipp Though they had a study of where the energy is emitted most in your body, Ji (or Chi) is very accurate of where it is emitted, and they knew about hundreds upon hundreds of years ago.

  • @lennyhipp There are a couple of videos on YouTube, where John Chang sets newspaper on fire. The only difference between these videos; is the editing. One of these videos, however, has a top comment from an animation expert, which adds credibility to the videos authenticity. Furthermore, this compels the suggestion that, perhaps, John Chang is not a fraud, nor magician, but rather that, it is quite plausible to push chopsticks through wood.

  • Jim has a book that you can get here: createspaceDOTcom/3695981

  • It's a discipline called the Mo Pai Nei Kung. The man in this video has learned to control his chi and use it to force the chopstick through the wood.
