  • In a recent paper, Nobel Prize winner, Luc Montagnier, and his team report the results of a series of rigorous experiments investigating the electromagnetic (EM) properties of highly diluted biological samples.

They found that pathogenic bacteria and viruses show a distinct EM signature at dilutions ranging from 10-5 to 10-12 (corresponding to ~3CH to 6CH homeopathic dilutions) and that small DNA fragments (responsible for pathogenicity) were solely accountable for the EM signal.

  • put your money where your mouth is.

  • Number of Nobel Laureate Scientists(Hans Euler-Chemistry & Luc Montagnier-(Physiology-Medicine) who have proven the efficacy of high dilutions: 2

Number of flat-earth-PSEUDOscientists-with-a-hidden-agenda who have disproven the efficacy of high dilutions: NIL

    So the final score is:

    Homeopathy: 2

    Flat-earth-PSEUDOscientists: NIL

  • um, please, what the hell are you talking about. Homeopathy is pseudoscience. its a lie, and evil lie that tells people they can get better by using stuff that in the end is no more then suger or water, no more, no less. The only effective use for any homeopathic "med" is to help down real "med". I will even put my money where my mouth is. send me any homeopathic "med" and I will take everything you send me at one time to see if I ok. $100 says I will be just fine.

  • also what you did is called Appeal to Authority and proves nothing. Also its funny after looking up the two names, one is dead and the other the only place I can find any info about his work on the subject is pro-Homeopathy websites. funny how the wiki page about him does not talk about that at all..

also I am willing to up my bet to $200 to show I am real about this. Send me all the homeopathic "med" you want and I will take them all at one time. come one, if its real then take the money

  • I studied the Apothecary Sciences years ago and worked at a health food store. I never recommended homeopathic remedies for the very reason it sounded like BS. The placebo effect is real, though. And the fact it does'nt harm anyone, so they are legally allowed to recommend such crap. They could, for instance, recommend chicken soup and that, too, would be legal.

  • placebo effect is real, for some people. wishing, praying and stuff like that works just as well.

  • And there is a process for taking homeopathy correctly. If you're already deeply into your illness, it's less likely to work. But oscillococcinum and its generic equivalents have been infallible for me, when taken correctly, so far. If you don't like it, don't take it. Even prescription medications and surgeries that have gone through rigorous trials are subject to the placebo effect. Drugs don't heal; the body heals itself. The drug merely helps the body to do its job.

  • If I wanted to depend on prayer for my health, why would I bother with a placebo? I used to get the worst kind of flus that would last for weeks. I would wishfully pound vitamin C and all kinds of herbs, to no effect. I skeptically tried homeopathy, and it showed immediate and lasting effect, especially when taken at the first hint of illness. I don't care if it's science or not. I don't even think about it. I take what works and leave to the believers (on both sides) to argue about why.

  • I don't respect CVS pharmacy anymore.

  • dude i bought the same thing, it was like 2 dollars cheaper than the rest of them so i just snatched it up without much scrutiny. i took a couple tablespoons and i was amazed at how good it tasted, tasted like plain honey, i was so happy. a couple hours later my cough was still terrible so i took some more. its like 1 am i cant sleep because i cant stop coughing and i looked at the label and its active ingredients are nonsense. its unbelievable that they can sell this shit in stores.

  • if i bye a coke i want a coke. not some water down shit. this should be illegal.

  • BEWARE MRSA IS SPREADING

If you think antibiotic resistance isn't a problem or doesn't affect you , THEN BEWARE. Contd

  • note, that everything advertised on the box that isn't the index box is either a half truth or an out right lie. That recommendation is nothing more then filler to get more people to buy.

It's generally a tip toe around the facts.

  • All CVS cares about is making money. They'll exploit the weak minded with no regard to anythng but their bottom line.

  • I saw some CVS brand homeopathic placebos in my local CVS as well. I understand it is a business, but is responsibility that goes with being a trusted source of medical remedies. Nice job spreading the word, it is truly disappointing.
