Bob& Jim netting the vineyards at Eagles Nest Winery & Cottage

We must net our vineyards annually to protect the fruit. Friends help us with much of the work in the vineyards and winery. Jim drove all the way from Texas, and Bob from Coronado - to help us net the vines to keep the pesky squirrels and birds away from our precious wine grapes. Actually Jim was here on vacation to escape the hot weather in Texas.
