@blueshark69 Again, let me correct your ignorance - in WW2, PH was still an American colony and not allowed to have its own military so how can you say we "barely made any resistance"? Many Americans and Filipino soldiers including Lt. Col. Claude Thorp who lost his life as a PH guerilla fighter fought on for 3 years against the Japs after the American military surrendered and McArthur escaped to Australia.

PH fought in Korea and Vietnam also. fyi

PH is a strong ally of the US, having sent troops to Korea, Vietnam. 40,000 PH contract workers were employed by the US DOD for Iraq and Afghanistan. 2.8 million PH work in America legally.
