A water droplet photographed 300 times at time intervals of 1 millisecond using a 1D MkII N camera. Effective frame rate is 1000 frames per second. Video played back at 12 frames per second. The real time duration of the splash is 0.3 seconds

    this is done with a strobe and letting lots of drops fall in constant intervals.

  • its weird how the color is already in the water before the drop hits the water ;x
