Time for our first real mission. We explore the Gaslin Caves with Bloctor and fight a boss who can turn a wooden club into an iron lance. :O

  • I think I might try an LP of The Last Remnant at one stage... It's a great game, and anything to give it more recognition. :D

I always tend to do the Robelia Ruins first. I like them better. :D

Are you going to be doing all the missions/side quests?

Ah! What happened to Blochter is the same thing that happens on the 360 version.

Fighting monsters grouped together makes it harder to level up your characters. The best way to level stats is to fight monsters individually. :D

  • @eltaire :> It is a good game. I recently read comparing reviews of PC and 360 versions; you're right. It does play different on PC.

I'll try to do the majority of sidequests. If I miss any, or if you want me to do any optional missions/bosses that I don't know about, steer me in the right direction.

XD What about Bloctor's textures fading in slow? That's just the problem with the Unreal Engine 3. Most games that use this engine have this.

  • @eltaire Oh, yeah, and I read that on a forum about fighting monsters one-by-one raises Battle Rank faster, but I didn't believe it. .w.' 'Cause fighting more monsters at once is harder, and I figure the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward. But I guess that's really just for money and componants and not EXP.

I'll keep that in mind for grinding. @w@" I'm gonna need it for the final boss of the first disc.

  • @NuclearGothic I know of a few different side quests that are handy to do. ;D

Two specific party members need to be in your party for awhile to trigger their side quests. I can't remember their names though. D:

Yeah, the texture rendering seems a lot worse on the 360 than on the PC.
