You might wanna get a distortion pedal and a cheap guitar at least 100 dollars will do. And the timing is pretty slow. I was like you when i just started out guitar. Keep on practicing

What you need to put is put the part of your arm right where your hand starts on the shiny silver bridge. Just rest it on the strings and then practice practice practice!
