For what its worth: Speaking from experience (I saw them perform at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on their last - final?! - tour and the band had no trouble selling out 20,000 seat arenas throughout America.

@CityCasuals Arctic Monkeys aren't one of the biggest bands in the world right now, at all. They're not even one of the biggest bands in the UK. Hell, even Oasis are bigger than them right now and they've been broken up for how long?

@Sheldon66 IMO America is irrelevant to music. In order for a foreign band to 'crack' America, they have to tour there pretty much constantly, due to its size and the general music public attention span lasting about 3 seconds, and do a lot of ass kissing. Oasis never cracked America, but they didn't care. That's the way it should be done.

Era defining. Credit crunch repelling. This is what made the last decade so good. The people like me that were 14-15 at the time and too busy tripping should listen to B Here Now again and realise that life is not that bad after all.
