I'm sorry about the typos!!!!!! Most of this was done in one night due to interview delays, so I was half asleep when I was typing up the subtitles. Beware, I started working on it at 8:30 pm and finished sometime after 5 am. Then I had to stay up until 6 to make sure it rendered correctly and restart the process whenever my computer shut down on its own.
This is a class project we did in my English class. In groups of three, we were given a topic and we had make a video to raise awareness on the topic. We were given the topic of child abuse. Though it is a slide show with background music and voice overs, it is nothing but the truth.
This topic is based on my teacher's book "The Secret Story of Sonia Rodriguez". This is a book he wrote after having various discussions with his students. The sad part is, it is loosely based on the story of one of his students he told him she was being molested by her uncle. This is a book he wrote based on his students for his students. Wow, this is so powerful. I agree that it's an issue that is often times overlooked.
The poem at the end was very well written. And for all of you that are physically, sexually, and/or emotionally abused or neglected, please know that there IS help. This living hell will end if you speak up. Put an end to child abuse.

Oh wow that was so deep, and so sad. Although it's all true... and action needs to be taken because child abuse and the effects it has on victims and spectators is terrible. It is also ridiculous. Great job hun, great job <3
