Kate Gosselin & The View

In case it isn't obvious, this aired 10/31/11. Took me a few days to edit it since we don't have regular TV anymore, and the audio sync just wasn't working out.

Well with the TV show gone, here's Kate's first interview. She doesn't have a new show or book to promote, so not sure why she's booking interviews.

Was she surprised to hear the show was canceled? She says she kinda figured it out because of ratings and whatnot. But days before the announcement she was on the Today show saying how much they loved filming and all the rumors weren't true and they'd love to continue making memories.

She sat them down for their first family meeting to let them know it was canceled and they were upset... the first time she told them J&K was ending she was in the car and they were "sobbing times 8."

It's sad that the kids were constantly asking when the crew would come play with them. They shouldn't be that attached. It's nice the crew will come and visit, but those visits will be few and far between. Kate once pointed out the crew was like fathers to them. Sad they wont be in their lives all the time.

The back up plan used to be to go back to nursing, but she says it wont provide for 8 kids (although families make do with little income and lots of kids all the time, it just wouldn't provide a wealthy lifestyle).

She has found a career she loves and hopes she can stay in it. If it works out that's great, but there's lots of people that want to be in showbiz... what is the new back up plan?

So the bachelor wants to know what Kate is looking for in a man... hehe. Maybe she's into her. Hehe, Kate is rumored to have swung that way.

Interesting little tidbit about Kate catching herself on TV and not liking it. She points out that it chronicles her growth and maturity. That's true, except that I have a hard time watching the RV episode and believing that. If being on TV means having moments you aren't proud of caught on film then count me out.

Jon's opinion's don't affect her? Um, he's the father of her kids and shares custody. His opinions kinda do affect her.

Pushing the kids into Hollywood? I really hope not, they already have enough on their plates and they (should) have already earned enough to have a decent trust fund.
