@ritamalik: Yet Christians (of which I used to be one), continually tell us that we have to understand (depending on the text) the original Hebrew, or Greek or Aramaic, etc, or a particular misunderstanding of something translated between various languages, or that Paul meant "This" instead of "That", or that, THESE BOOKS ARE PART OF THE BIBLE---unless someone else says some OTHER books are! Please--Christianity is so RIFE with innovations (biddah) that you will never unravel it.

@sfyr Also, I cannot deny what I have understood, experienced and what is discovered. The logic of it all is beyond my intellect sometimes, and therefore, again is evidential and discovery. Evidence has to be taken and understood as a whole then judgement made. All other ideologies lack beyond measure, and their claims of so called "evidence" as compared to The Christian world view. @sfyr Also, I have personally experienced the Forgiveness of Sins Through The Atoning Blood of Yeshua. Ultimately as a result I was shown The TRUTH. If I have forgetten anything then forgive me. All the above would have to be considered as evidence. How you or anyone else has a prerequisite other than the above for "evidence" is personal to yourselves, however, and as for me and my house, I will Worship The Lord Christ through the knowledge found in the Hebrew and Greek scriptures.

@sfyr my best? Well lets see. In no particular order, evidence that relates to Archeology, Historicity, Bibliography, Extra (other than) Biblical Literature, Historical Sociology, Discovery of Science and Scientific Discovery, Unique Eschatology, Anthropology, Cosmology, YouTube, and Oh did I mention @ 16.5 years I saw The Christ. (not into wishy washy visions or hearing voices, or Ghosts) I also found evidence of Spirituality and Extra Dimensional Existences (Angels, Demons).

Williams quotes Gospel John 10vs35 stating Jesus disclaimed being God. "no i'm not cliaming to be God". Please read John 10vs 35. Jesus is actually contrasting Himself to these leaders by way of quoting Psalm 82. read verse 2 onwards. Here the Old Test judges apponited were evil in their judgments, wrong in their discerments. Jesus is calleing His accusers' "false judges" Williams again displaying the low level of scholarship. Jesus claims to be God because He is God The Son. Do your research!

By the time you get to 1hr in this debate you realise Williams' reasons and reasoning is basically weak and childish. He clearly states Islam is "simple" to believe in because it does not contain more complex forms as in Christianity. Actually this spealls " don't confude me with scholarship and deeper thinking". Willaims constantly throws out Qureshi's scholars even if it happens to be a Quranic verse. Willaims @ 1:12 has lost this debate and made a complete "fool" of himself.

Also, up to and onwards from 0:40 we see a clear examples of how Wiiliams is reapeatedly asked to answer questions (put in order of speaker) and he totally neglects the point and wonders "off down the lane". Qureshi is seen to answer Willaims@ concerns but with constant interuptions. Qureshi consistantly remians close to both the Bible and Quran, but Willaims does not. Of course all this has its place but again Willaims' "wondering" shows an inconsistancy and weakness.

It's clear from listening to this debate that Mr Williams is unqualified to come up against Mr Qureshi. Qureshi sites several souces and quotes from not only the Quran, Haddith, but several other souces. Williams attempt to ask "show from Acts where it calls Jesus God" etc is a weak attempt to point out a "non point". ALL Biblical scholars know/teach titles were used repeatedly in Jewish writings that the reader understood as being Son of God, Equal to God etc.
