Urg -.-' I'm in grade 8 and I can't understand adding and subtracting integers! I'm pro at multiplying and division but urg, Adding and subtracting has different rules and i'm already hooked on multiplying and divisioon and my teacher doesnt understand

Start by changing subtraction problems into addition problems.
e.g., 3 - 5 -> 3 + (-5) or -3 - 5 -> -3 + (-5)
Then, follow on these two rules.
#1- If the numbers have the same sign, then add the numbers and put the sign in front of the answer.
-3 + (-5) = -8
#2- If the signs are different, subtract the numbers and put the original sign of the larger number in front of the answer.
3 + (-5) = -2
See if that helps make it a bit easier.
