@inkey2 Hawaiian Eye was good.I was pretty young when 77 Sunset Strip was on,but I do have the LP of music from the show.These Warner Bros. shows were fun and not so cynical and nasty as the crime shows today...

@Robo1415 yeah, actually it wasn't too bad. The reason I think it died a premature death is because Warner Brothers flooded the TV market with similar themed detective shows....77 sunset strip, hawiian eye, surfside 6 etc. It was like they were competing against themself. My personal favorites was sunset strip and hawiian eye

When I first saw this, I realized where was where THE SIMPSONS got the idea for its spin-off parody CHIEF WIGGUM, P.I. Like this one, it featured an ex-cop and a civilian P.I (in this case, Principal Skinner).
