Éxito: Training for Success! is an after school program for 9th grade students attending Edison High School that runs during the academic year. The program is based on a nation-wide model from the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship. Through the Exito program, students learn: -the principles of entrepreneurship -how to develop a business plan -how to compete for seed money to start their own business. Students gain valuable critical thinking & analytical skills while advancing math and literacy skills. Additionally, through Éxito, students receive valuable college and career counseling that will assist them in their path after high school into adulthood.
