Now we jam on the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song "Teach Your Children". One more video, and then this series is done! We had a great time!

[D] You, who are on the [G] road
Must have a [D] code
That you can [A] live by.
And [D] so, become your[G]self
Because the [D] past
Is just a [A] goodbye.

[D] Teach, your children [G] well
Their father's [D] hell
Did slowly [A] go by
And [D] feed them on your [G] dreams
The one they [D] pick's
The one you'll [A] know by.

[D] Don't you ever ask them [G] why
If they told you, you would [D] cry
So just look at them and [Bm] sigh [A]
And know they [D] love you.

And you
Of tender years
Can't know the fears
That your elders grew by
And so please help
Them with your youth
They seek the truth
Before they can die

Teach your parents well
Their children's hell
Will slowly go by
And feed them on your dreams
The one they pick's
The one you'll know by.

Don't you ever ask them why
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you.

HAHAH!!!! She is a great dog and I occasionally feed her that way. Kerry is experienced with dogs, he and Robbin have two huge ones.

Yes it is our backyard, we are very well shaded during the summer by those trees.

  • A great song, not quite country but very country indeed. Well done my friend. Is that you backyard? Nice trees.

  • @MAFjournal

Thanks, Mikey! Did you stay until the very end?

  • @Debbyturner

LOL We love our dogs, though I don't think I'd do that personally!
