Thanks for sharing this. It's so important that people know how destructive the "ex-gay" movement is.

There are plenty of examples of people who have experienced fundamental change in sexual orientation or significant diminishing of SSA. It is disingenuous to persist in the absolute superlative assertion of immutability. Research is finding sexuality to be far more fluid than previously thought. Reparative efforts are not for everyone, but those who WANT to change have the RIGHT to seek it. Those who change and seek change are being marginalized, invalidated and discriminated against.

This is so true. Everyone who's gay, is absolutely born that way. It's not just sexual orientation: It's a natural characteristic.

Homosexuality is incurable. Luckily; christianity is not.

So Matt, pedophiles cannot change their "sexuality"? Morality aside, their behavior is outside of what is considered "natural". Do you not believe that psychotherapy can "cure" the pedophile? Or should we normalize it, and even praise their behavior?

Pedo philes have an attraction to children who can neither fully consent to sex, nor understand it. I hardly see the connection to homosexuality, in which two consenting adults who understand sexuality practice love for each other.

Pedophilia is almost always forced. Also, there are a lot of things that aren't "natural," ANY medical treatment you go to at ANY time isn't natural, if we wanted to be truly "natural" then we'd all be dead by the age of 35 or so.

We do things daily that aren't "natural," be careful that you don't consider anything unnatural as being wrong, and that you don't confuse nature with "sin," because that's more than likely what you meant.

I doubt you really care about what's "natural."

Pedophilia is not a sexual orientation.
It's a paraphilia. Look it up.
