This is a tutorial on the program Orb, where you can access any music, pictures, or videos stored on your computer with your Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, iPhone/Ipod Touch, or any other media device.

Visit the Orb Website at:
www.orb.com

To add file to allow more files to access:

1. Right Click on orb in the system tray
2. Click on COnfiguration
3. Hit the Media Tab
4. Then hit add
5. Browse what file you want and click on it and add it
6. Make sure you add whatever kind of file it is to the correct spot(i.e. a movie to the video spot and a song to the music spot)

  • hey when i go onto my 360 it doesnt say orb on it, how to you get it to show up?

  • make sure you are connected to the same network and hit Y(i think) to look for new sources of media.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH IT WORKED GREAT AUDIO AND NICE INSTRUCTIONS! 5 STARS BUT I GOT ONE QUESTION . . . it lets me access my public files but i cant find MY USER? (xbox 360)

  • I don't really understand what you are asking, but make sure you are connected to the same network as your computer with orb on it.

  • never mind i got it working but when i try to do it on my cell phone it plays the audio but does not show picture . . . its just a black screen!

  • depending on which cell phone you may have to change some setting on the phone. Try looking for settings at the bottom, after you sign in with your orb account. The type of cell phone definitely matters.

  • it wont fuckine let me create the account aherflhadsjfhkjlqEGJHAJKLALEKRGFKJ

  • Does Zune do the same thing?

  • great vid, but it's blurry to watch

  • no its not good for watching videos... Smaller video files will obviously keep it from freezing but thats pointless because you wont want to watch a small movie on a flatscreen. I have not found away to make it better but maybe if you google it, you might find something.

  • I have my ps3/flat screen connected to my wireless to access the movies in my computer in the next room. I find orb to be worthless for watching movies as it constantly freezes. Is there any way to stop the movies from freezing?
