  • ermm.. i'm still learning it.. got the same result like in this video..

still dont know whats wrong with my technique.. maybe need more training?

check out taekema adidas ads mate.. it shows in real slow-mo for us to watch..

  • well if u got the same result it isn't that bad right? and btw i already improved a bit and i got it on vid aswell:). but they told me training is the key.

  • nice mate, i find water bases a lot harder, i can sort of drag flick, but i cant get top corner height but im still trying it :)

  • I had the same problem. but you have to try and make a last swing not only with your stick horizontal, but also with the hook vertical if you know what i mean;)

    cheers

  • Nice one im just getting to terms with doing this i can do it on waterbased easy but my pitch is sand so kinda difficult

  • haha lol:P well i learned it on sand:P and i first couldn't do it on water based fields. but now i prefer water based fields. but i think its just practising;) you will make it;)

  • Training IS the key. Practice practice practice. In our hockey sessions one of our staff is always practicing drag flicks from 10yrds outside the D, and I've noticed him get better and better.

+ another thing you missed out is that you didn't push the ball up the shaft then rolled it back down to give the ball momentum. Do that and you'll be perfect.

  • awesome man, you will get better in time and practice makes perfect, hopefully you can be the next Taekema
