Bad news for us. Tom Friedman (who speaks for the power elite) wants a Chinese style authoritarian society here in the US). He feels ruthless autocracies find it easier to make "necessary changes" that are "difficult". Slave labor camps, ethnic cleansing, "disappearances" are key for economic efficiency.

not disturbed at all. there is no discernable difference between those who attended the 'tea parties' and mccain rally supporters who yelled 'KILL HIM' and 'HE'S AN ARAB' during those events. glad to know that didn't apply to you but you were in the minority.
