Brooke Shields is "Precilla" opposite Bob Hope's "Miles Standish" in a sketch that had been a staple on overseas Christmas shows dating back to Korea and Vietnam. A crew member from the USS Constitution is chosen to intercede for Miles in capturing the heart of Longfellow's comely lass. The bit never failed to elicit laughs from the spokesman's crewmates and it delivers once again here.
