...us about the condition of people. now the prophet is dead and revelation has stopped so we will deal with you based on what is apparent. So the way you look does not prove righteousness but it can indicate sinfulness or obedience. we just have to remember that even a fasiq muslim is obedient sometimes and even the righteous commit sins so we have to look at a person as a whole. I know everybody already knows, but I thought it might be worth saying anyway, peace.

That is no indication how ever about their standing with Allah because you have to take everything into account. This was a good reminder. Im surrounded by those type of people who think that because i dont wear a thobe that i must be a devient and a fasiq. One thing though (and I dont believe the brother had any bad intentions) is that some people use this to down play the apparent. meaning the hijab is wajib for the sisters. A sister who wears hijab is not necesarily righteous but if I see two sisters one the street, one with hijab and one without, the only thing I know of them right away is...
