@al3x440 Neither do i,but i will call Logitech's audio designs crap.
-
@truebassB, I wouldnt call them crap, and they are all custom made, and the z-5500 driver is a WT-644F (custom made ofc)
-
@al3x440 Yeah, but the tb ends up having no clue about what's the crapdrivers used in Z-Cinema,z-2300 and z-5500.
-
@truebassB, tang band claimed to use the w8-670c in the z-2200, 2300, 560 and 680, enough said
-
@al3x440 Oh and by the way i read that according to Tangband the z-2300 is NOT using Tangband driver for the Subwoofer, and the drivers on the sats are Chinese, not Taiwanese like Tangband,so they are NOT Tangbands.
-
@al3x440 Where did you find that info? In the matter of fact i did a research and i found a topic on HardForum pretty basically posted everywhere which made me fell off the chair cause i was laughing hard with Logitech's Fidelity Goal but that's another story.
The OP Claims that Logitech's using a driver called 670C with 100w Continuos and bigger vent hole on the back, well even so 100w to 200w if 3db useless difference,70w to 100w is 1.5db or less, which makes us doing useless discussions.
-
@truebassB, the 670c is a custom more powerful logitech version of the 670q
logitech uses the W8-670Q on logitech speakers.
it's not custom build, and it can handle only 140w max,but no one amplifier have 100% efficiency to give excaclty the rated wattage, and if you connect the sub on a 1000w amplifier,it will be fine,as far as you don't turn the volume up.
