@aerdna14 i think in the original the shoes were given separately. so they were never magical in the first place. but later adaptations may not have picked up on that.

I have always been confused as to why the glass slippers didn't also turn back into her normal shoes. Shouldn't the prince have picked up a scuffed up loafer?
