When I turn my heat on all the vents warm the rooms but I feel its useless when I walk in the hallway between the bedrooms under the filter and cold air is coming thru. Why is this? Plus my back bedroom is always cold. Please help.

How much return air would you recommend for a 3.5 ton unit? we only have 1 - 16" return in the hallway now in flexduct...
