The Emporer Arrives At The Deathstar

I took Darth Vader's arrival footage out of the begining, and spliced it with the Emporer's arrival footage.

The footage in this video is Copyright 1983 LFL.

The transition from Luke in his X-Wing, to the Deathstar reveal is confusing...and the edit between Vader's shuttle flying, and the Emporer's already-landed shuttle need's work.

Isn't it funny how the emperor is supposedly the most powerful man on the dark side of the force, and arguably the most powerful man in the entire galaxy, yet he can't walk down a ramp without using a walking stick? I mean, a typical jedi could probably just float right out of the ship using the force. Wouldn't even need his legs. I guess the lightening bolts he was able to shoot out of his hands shows that he's not someone to be toyed with, but I still find the walking stick to be ironic.

@mrderekevan - I think he just doesn't want (or need) to use the force all the time. Plus, it makes people think he's old and weak......Then, BLAM...force lightning!

And, it's not much different than Yoda using a cane.
