try using a tremelo effect> u wont have to pick as much. thats how hillsong does it

@phazlett ok thanks! i don't have my bass right now so i'm practicing this on my guitar...my guitar is definitely not in tune with your bass in this video, it sounds terrible haha but i'm too lazy to go find my tuner :P thanks again for the help!!

this is exactly what i was looking for! playing in a worship band that told me i need to have this solo ready by next week, hopefully i can get it up to speed, but it was very helpful to me that you started it slowly so i could get the hang of it, and then played it faster. thanks!

You'll probably find this even more helpful. I should redo this video because I was really just trying to figure out how to play bass when I made this - but now there are already some really good videos floating out that show how it's done.

It's a Godin Freeway 4.
I recently replaced the passive electonics and stock pickups with an 18V Bartolini NTMB 3.4 preamp and EMG-HZ passive pickups.
I really like Godin bass guitars. They play well and the neck fits my hand size.
