Kelly Clarkson? Madonna? Outsing Mariah? You wait. Next to any one else, except the vocalists defining and epitomising the 90's league - a remarkable era of quality music - and with her vocal endowments (stupendous capacity and range and all), singers like Shitdonna and Spears are weak. Formidable and captivating voices are what define you as a concrete and influential music icon. Spread legs, heels in the air: not so much. Mariah does none of that; the classy diva works her way with her voice.
