At a health care town hall meeting, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) asks people attending, "You don't trust me?" The overwhelming response: "NO!"

@cjm608 What is it that you like about her aside from her "toughness"? is it her Marxist economic policies, her progressive perspective on governance, her Orwellian approach to campaign finance, her general unavailability to her constituents, or her complete and utter lack of logic? Aspiring despots like her are the very reason why Amendment 17 needs to be repealed.

She really looked surprised when the crowd made it known they do NOT trust her - or most politicians for that matter.
For most politicians, their number one priority is staying in power, getting re-elected. Suck up to every special interest group or lobbyist who will support them.
And even if they only serve 2 years in Congress, they get a pension for the rest of their lives.
We need TERM LIMITS for all Senators and Congressman. Look at Teddy, Byrd & Specter - way too long in power.
