This mbira was made by G. Rushombwo, tuned to 'Cosmas tuning'. Nice sound, keys are pretty easy to play, flexible.

good video's. Over the last 5 yrs i've been riding through the rockies with my mbira in the saddlebags,stop at some good scenery and play to the mnts. Keep em comin.

His name is Rushambwa.

I met him last year. He is alright.

its really known by many names, cosmas, eugene, magaya standard, devon. Cosmas on the west coast as there was a connection between cosmas, the eugene area and this tuning but as far as i know there is no Cosmas tuning as such . Its done to reference.

I've played this tuning, but never knew it was the tuning known as Cosmas's. Nice playing on your videos.
