  • My Colt does the same thing, I generally have to turn in on it top (sights down to the table) to get it to go on, Counter Productive sounding I know, but it seems to work on mine.

  • @TheMinisterofDefence yea. they are all in same price range

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES Are they priced comparable to Rock Island? Bluing would be a big plus if you could get that in an 'economy' model.

  • @TheMinisterofDefence Rock Island has never given me a problem. Check out the Metro Arms 1911s as well. Rather than parkerization they blue their models. Really good lookin.

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES yeah, those rock island guns look pretty good. i dont like the grips on them, but thats no big deal. if i buy another 'economy' version of a 1911, i will probably get one of the phillipine models. this gun is working fine now though, and i probably wont get another any time soon.

  • @The1MOA o yea. I'll take a filipino 1911 over a damn para ordnance any day of the week. They are over priced and plagued with issues. The series 70 colt clone Filipino guns have my vote all day. If I am gonna pay more it has always been Kimber.

  • Another reason to buy a Kimber.

  • Tripod.
