I take back my earlier statement about the animation. After sitting back and watching every episode of this series I can easily say that Transformers Animated is one of the best Transformers series yet! It's really too bad that the series was never extended past a third season. :-(

Don't get me wrong Transformers Prime is great and all, but I honestly prefer the character cast of Animated to Transformers Prime.

I took a perverse pleasure in watching Megatron whoop Axecop Prime. I don't like this primes voice but this Megatron is what Megatron should be.
