That was just a plot point that they never revisited. They made a show of K hiding the scissors & someone sneaking them out, but then dropped the whole bit. K was a kind character who insisted on punishment, so I'd think she'd feel badly about his death. Why were scissors were in the possession of rioting inmates? It isn't like he was stabbed with a knife, which would make sense in the dining rm. Would have made an interesting twist to Meg/Greg/Karen affair if it were to have come out.

You don't say!! I didn't realize that. You're very observant and brilliant. A true detective in the making. Yet, wouldn't the screws make sure that the Inmates didn't have anything on them before they went back to their cells.
