  • Held my grandpa's hand tonight as is left this earth. After asking him what was with favorite plain that we owned, it was his 25. He died at 9:40 tonight after we talked about it.

Thanks for the video. RIP, James Higgins.

  • @mawk27 Sorry to hear that, sound like he had a full life though.

  • I noticed power is reduced few moments after take-off!

  • Noise reduction for the airport neighbors! Its a very loud plane.

  • @mawk27 *salute* to your Grandpa, mark 27.

  • I hope that wasn't the stall warning I heard

  • I have a lot of time in Lear 25s. Flew one for Ken Lay in the pre-Enron days (before we got Lear 55s). Loved the LR-25! We called it the "Converter" - it converts fuel into noise.

  • Got a lot of LR 25 time. Flew one for Ken Lay before his Enron days. Lome me some CJ-610s! I popped the drag chute once on landing at Strother, KS, for engine overhaul.

I didn't like the range. We ended up with three LR 55s and a JetStar-II. But the LR-25 was a rocket!

  • at the end it's telling you EVER SPEED

to fast of a take off...

  • Nice noise abatement procedures. How does it feel making an entire town deaf? lol. Love those engines!

  • plus the Lear 25 doesn't cost $30,000,000...
